Vancouver Island Brewery Beer Fest at Moby’s on Saltspring

I’d be all over this if I wasn’t hosting BrewVIC’s Big Brew Day at my place that day. C’est la vie. Next year!

August 25th, 2012 is the First Annual Moby’s Beer Fest!
Featuring a selection of Fresh Local West Coast Beer from a variety of vendors, a Cash BBQ & Bar, Fresh-Shucked Oysters & Appies and Live Music, all to enjoy in the outdoor entertainment area at Moby’s!

The Scoop:

Time: 1pm to 8pm

The Bands:
1-3pm: Jose Sanchez hits the stage to start the fest with his smoking Latin beat. A recognized Master Percussionist from Cuba, Jose’s lively syncopation is one of the most exciting forces in jazz. Not to be missed, El Jose’s Cuban Dance Party has to be experienced!

3:30-5:30pm: The Covertones continue the party

6-8pm: The Pompadoors, (formerly The Left) end the Beer Fest with great selection of original rock music and some covers!
